A FTTH connection provides the ability to access virtually unlimited bandwidth capacity and very fast internet speeds. Fiber also increases overall service reliability and stability.
How is Fiber Optics better than what I have now?
Fiber is hair-like strands of glass that transmits pulses of light. It has the capability of transporting data distances without signal loss or interference. It can also transmit the signals in both directions simultaneously. This means it has the ability to download and upload at very high speeds. Copper is limited and cannot do many of the capabilities that fiber can.
How long have you been deploying Fiber-To-The-Home?
We have been deploying Fiber since 2008 starting in Memphis, MO and are continuing to deploy Fiber to many businesses and homes today. Our goal is to have our Fiber-To-The-Home project completed with our Inside Exchange by 2020.
